Northcote's town centre is about to undergo radical change.
Eke Panuku has been diligent to ensure that Northcote's future builds on, and remains connected to, its present and past.

Eke Panuku Development Auckland has been leading the regeneration of Northcote's town centre. Over the next decade, locals and visitors will see further dramatic change in Northcote's commercial and civic heart - as updated shops, business premises, community facilities and new residences are added.
Working with development partners, mana whenua, Kaipātiki Local Board, locals, and others, Auckland Council will build on Northcote’s unique character to create a more thriving heart for the community - a place where locals, culture and businesses can flourish.
In planning for the town centre, Eke Panuku has prioritised retaining those features that make Northcote unique within Tāmaki Makaurau. To make sure that we do not lose sight of these features, we have captured the life of the town centre in a collection of images taken over recent, and not so recent years.
This image collection informs our plans, providing a constant reminder that there is so much to love and retain in the unique past and present of Northcote. We hope you enjoy them.
