Auckland Arts Festival (AKLFEST)
Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival (AKLFEST) runs March 7 - March 24.
Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival (AKLFEST) is a vibrant celebration of art and culture that takes place annually in Auckland. Running from March 7 to March 24, Aucklanders can immerse themselves in an array of unforgettable experiences, including in our Eke Panuku neighbourhoods.
The Biggest Little Circus is an action-packed, high-energy explosion of circus street theatre that can be seen in both Manukau and Henderson.
The Biggest Little Circus performance includes everything from world-class juggling and aerial acrobatics to a human changing room. Don’t miss their leopard print leotards!
When & Where:
- Manukau Civic Centre, Saturday 9 March, 1.00pm – 2.00pm
- The Falls Carpark Henderson, Sunday 10 March, 5.00pm – 6.00pm*
Also check out Undergrand, a portable baby grand piano which pops up all over Tāmaki Makaurau, with a selection of talented rangatahi (young people) and professional pianists playing music that moves the spirit and gives us reason to pause and reflect.
See Undergrand in Henderson, Manukau, and at Takapuna Beach, before it closes the festival with live family karaoke in Aotea Square.
